RESTYLANE VITAL W: a brand new and exclusive hyaluronic acid!
After Restylane Vital - the particular viscous gel of NASHA™ (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) hyaluronic acid, specifically studied to moisturize skin in its deep layers - here comes Restylane Vital W, a new fluid hyaluronic acid, presented at the 10th Congress of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan.
Dr. Magda Belmontesi, dermatologist and consultant of our Internet portal, explains: ”Now the Restylane Vital range includes two products, both specifically formulated to meet the different needs of water intake in the dermis and created for different areas and skin types.
Subcutaneously injected where needed (face, neck, décolleté, hands) with a number of microinjections at a distance of about one centimetre, Restylane Vital products - both viscous and fluid - have a really extraordinary biostimulation effect: by creating a water-reserve in the dermis (from this the name of the treatment: Hydroreserve) they deliver deep moisture with long-lasting effect and restore the hydric balance compromised by the passing of time, thus giving back the skin its fresh, bright and healthy appearance.“
A LONG AWAITED NOVELTY
With Restylane Vital W a “light” formulation of Hydro-reserve is now available, with different results and excellent performances just where skin is at its thinnest.
Dr. Belmontesi continues: “While Restylane Vital smooths superficial wrinkles, delivers tone and compactness and improves the skin elasticity (Hydroreserve), Restylane Vital W, working on the most superficial dermis (Hydroreserve Light), restores the hydric balance, stretch the skin and improves its weft. Restylane Vital W is especially suitable for young skins (that have a better elasticity and less wrinkles in comparison with older skins) and for thin, sensitive, less photodamaged skins. “Thanks to its peculiar characteristics of lightness and fluidity, Restylane Vital W represents the ideal product also for all those areas where the skin thickness is not very firm, such as eye and lip contour, neck, décolleté and back of the hands. So, Hydroreserve becomes an integrated therapy for skin rejuvenation and prevention of skin aging able to be modulated and to balance the hydration level: Restylane Vital and Restylane Vital W can be used alone or combined together according to the skin type, the aesthetic needs and the result to be achieved.

Once injected, the hyaluronic acid is gradually released and gradually recalls more water into the superficial dermis, so that its effect lasts months. Though the long duration, advantages are not permanent: as usual if the matter is hyaluronic acid, in the course of time our body metabolizes and reabsorbs the product. Nevertheless, the applications can be easily repeated as often as needed.”
For best results we suggest to schedule a treatment of 2 to 3 sessions to be repeated every 6 to 8 months.
